Dealers submit electronically right away. I placed an order with Siwash a few weeks ago. Bc CFO told me they’re still working on approvals for the first week of June.
on that note… their phones were closed at 10 am today and just hung up on me at 2 pm. 4 hour window for phones. I hope that means they’re still doing their job with regular business hours without phone call distractions.

That's odd, my purchase submitted by a Business 5 June was completed 17 June.
I figure the purchase I did a a few days ago is going to take a lot longer though .....
I know it’s frustrating waiting and not knowing when your transfer will be approved, but unless you think there is a genuine problem… try to resist calling just cuz you’re tired of waiting!
If you have a reference number, you will get approved….eventually.
Trying up the phone lines just makes it harder for people trying to initiate transfers.

My last one took from June 23rd to July 7th. I completed a transfer on another purchase before June 23rd and I'm still waiting for that approval so there doesn't appear to be a predictable processing sequence.

Siwash send you transfer details? I used guest check out, on the 6th, have emailed them twice for a reference number but they didn’t respond, although bout a g17.5 barrel Friday and it was at the post office by Monday, are multiples going through? I have another transfer from the 17th I wonder if they will approve them all.
Nope once it’s submitted most retailers in my experience don’t tell you anything until it’s shipped. I think Al Flahertys gave me an order status update once it was submitted to CFO.

also not sure if you’ve been in that store but I’ve never seen more than 3 people working. It’s tiny but jam packed with stuff and they’re super busy. I don’t get replies to most emails either. Best bet is to call.

I ordered from Siwash too middle of july. I have emailed for the transfer reference and no reply. Going to try again and see if they will give me the details. I did get a call a couple days later after purchase to confirm my range and DOB
I have been on hold all day with CFO. I got through right away at 1 * 6 * 1, they wouldnt help me.. been calling back at 1 * 4 * 2 and i keep getting disconnected at 1 hour. I call back and they tell me lines are busy and hangs up right away. Call back and get to hold.
Just got off the phone with Linda at the BC CFO. She was super nice and helpful, approved my Walther PPQ 22 from June 10 from Tenda. Seems like they're just getting to it now (EDIT: the application was received on June 14, so it looks like there was some delay from Ontario to BC CFO). I had a second purchase from July 7 and they aren't even touching July yet.
I used the French service and then 9530 to get to them. 30 minute wait.

I did 1800 normal, then 2 (for French), and then 1 (for extension) and then 9530.
YMMV as other times I did it they just straight up said they're closed. I got lucky and was put into hold for 30 mins. Best to try to call in the mornings.
