In Ontario they are not approving transfers based on email requests or call-ins. You basically have to wait until they reach your number (they are currently processing June 7th requests).
No, just call. You will eventually get through. Takes two days of random call times. Sometimes less.

I asked for these two specificly because I'm going to Florida for an idpa 5/11 transfer complete
Transfer completed under 2 days... quite the production but is possible. First you have to get the transfers done, 90 calls, 60 mins on hold and 2 hangups. Now this is for BC. Wait one day then phone CFO to complete.. that was 30 tries, 1 hangup , 60 mins on hold. But got emailed transfer while on the phone. I tried calling cfo same day and I was told they could not process same day transfers.
They ignore emails unless the transfer was accidentally skipped. I've tried.

Used the mail in way. They received my applications August 30. Last week a clarification needed from me ( mistake I made ) and now onto the BC local officer. So even the mail in instead of phone in is working nicely. Family 12(3) transfers on prohibited Pre 1946 stuff.
