Transfer times

No kidding!! with all those extra people with nothing to do now that the LGR is gone, you think they would put them to good use to maybe speed things up cause I know at my job when I fall behind I get people to help so that doesn't happen so if they can't handle the work load then change the rules or hire help its that simple
 
Same here, my buyer is in Ontario and still waiting for the transfer done, I call them this morning and the lady said now will need 15 business days and because of the holiday, it wil take much longer.

I just called in a transfer yesterday BC --> AB. Private deal. Called today...done like dinner. 1 day...that's how it should be (or better). Now if it had gone the other way...I'd be looking at February before I saw it...
 
Dealer transfer took one day in ON last week. Had it two days after the order went in! I remember waiting 2 weeks+ a couple of years ago. ON CFO has improved.
 
I phoned the gun registry today to check on some transfers that are all over two weeks old now. This is the first time I have ever got any attitude from the registry people. The lady said there is no use calling this early as it will take at least 3 to 4 weeks so in reality I am just wasting my time. I politely told her I had nothing better to do and maybe one day they will surprise me. I probably didn't make any points with her but I was not rude just matter of fact.

Called Ontario CFO today and was told that they are a little over 1 month behind now on personal sales/transfers. :(
They took my email address and was told i would get an email when approved, also applied for a temp ATT as well.
 
in the last 4 months I've had 4 transfers in AB. The first 3 took hours. The last one was a private transfer from Ontario and it took less than 24 hours.
 
Business transfers in Ontario right now are 2-4 days... Though I've had some come in the same day this week. Personal transfers in the province I cant say much on. But this thread just reminded me I have a transfer to do when I get to work! hahaha.
 
Welcome to Ontario... Private Transfer started on Dec 10th, called yesterday, not even looked at yet. Was told they were a month behind.
