If her gun was tuned then I don't understand why it didn't have a recoil pad. I mean they would tune that part for her so she can actually have something but she had nothing. See for yourself. Everyone else's gun is obviously heavily tuned to fit their shooter very well but Lu's gun looks like a well used 686 E Sporting with a missing recoil pad.
No idea why she didn't have a recoil pad. ISSF skeet is a low-gun game so perhaps it was removed to ensure a smooth mount or any of several other reasons. The important tuning would be fit, trigger pull, weight adjustments, barrel tuning for pattern consistency and most importantly barrel regulation which can vary widely among entry-level Berettas.
Shooters who are sponsored shoot whatever model of gun they are given by their sponsor and it makes sense for Beretta to give her a gun that looks like one you could buy off the shelf.
FYI, according to this she did not shoot a 686 but a 692 while the other team Berettas shot the DT11.

Maybe she just likes that configuration, but to be shooting without a recoil pad would be tiring! It could also be that is not her normal gun and she is making due.

It's about twice the price or more of a Precision Fit Stock depending on the options. It does however appear to address some of the PFS shortcomings. I shot a PFS for a while and it was a fiddly item with lots of little easy to lose parts. I was delighted to find a buyer for it. The Ergosign seems simpler and better designed but not something I'd sink my money into.

Her gun is a 686. Look at the line on the receiver and compare it to the 692. Of course Beretta will tell you its a 692 because they want you to buy that instead of a 686. Beretta also says she won silver but she won bronze.
They also say Cassandro Tammaro's gun is a 692 but its a DT 11.

Good eye. It also doesn't have the same top lever at the 682. But it's not a 686.

Lu's gun. Not quite enough detail to see the lettering clearly but you can see the basic engraving and the removable barrel shoulders.
A 682E. Note the gold lettering on P. Beretta and logo, removable barrel shoulders, groove on forend.
A 686E. Plainer, gold only on 686E but not P. Beretta and logo, slightly different design with vertical curved engraving, plainer fences and no barrel shoulders.

Ah that's absolutely the gun. So Lu Min is using a 682.
What else is funny about her is she uses a pair of Callaway golf gloves instead of shooting gloves. I'm sure they work equally just as well though. Another Chinese shooter Zhu Jingyu uses the same gun.

There is only one given when it comes to gun manufacturers, there are NO givens. The number of times I have heard they weren't made this way or that or didn't have this option or that then a factory piece shows up that does not conform to any particular standards sets everyone on their ears??

Have owned a cynergy (liked it a lot), a 725 sporting (did not like it), a 686 silver pigeon (did not like it), a 690 field grade III (liked it), a 692 sporting (liked it a lot), spx (did not like it), Maxus (did not like it), A5 (kinda liked it), A400 (hated it), super black eagle (Hated it), and a versamax (kinda liked it).
Kinda funny how, having tried all that, the two shotguns I've kept ar my 870 express and my DT11. I shoot my 870 pump gun almost as well as my DT11, and I only shoot the DT11 better because I like it more and shoot with it more often. I'm sure that if I were to focus on the pump gun I'd be just as good with the exception of the odd true pair where pumping word out me at a disadvantage.

Could part of the reason you shooter your DT11 better is because you like it and shoot it more often? There is a certain satisfaction shooting a top tier gun. I can shoot my Beretta 391 just as well as my o/u but I don't enjoy it quite as much.

Quite true, if you're just playing around. Some of these guys, me included, would wear out a Mossberg in less than a year. I don't shoot that much but I easily shoot 5000 rounds a year. If you are getting into any clay sport you need at least a 1300.00 gun.
