So heading to Maui at the end of February and going to take a couple days and do a hunt for Boar and either goat or sheep. Concerned with returning with the cape and skull. I've printed off the info saying that its legal to bring in integument/skull from the U.S. on the Canada customs website.
My plan is to buy a large cooler at Walmart once I get there and then freeze the capes and skulls, place in garbage bag, stick them in the cooler and seal up the cooler with duct tape. My concern is finding freezer space to freeze the capes at the resort condo and that I have a layover in Edmonton of 7 hrs on the return (hoping it wont thaw). Not sure if I will be able to bring any meat back so my plan is to keep some to try at the condo we have rented while there and donate the rest. Any suggestions from those of you who have done this sort of thing before? Of course this is all saying that I'm successful...
