TRG-21 painting project: Phase 3 complete

I love Pil, it work for me too, What make is that Muzzle break?
I am looking getting a TRG also, in 308win, something for regular range work...

I don't have an original PN for it, but it is press fit rather than threaded. It secures via a hex screw.

To be honest, I did not appreciate the base look of the TRG like I did the AI until it occurred to me simply to paint it to preference.

Definitely growing on me now.

As for accuracy out-of-the-box, I don't think that's ever been in question.

YEt, I am going to jump on the band waggon and get a TRG22 for sure, and painted like you did with Krylon , but you did suck a good jobs, going to do it in Urgan camo, white, black , gray..., I have seen many pain jobs, some did a good jobs, but you byfar stand out the most. VERY NICE...

Very nice job.

It is interesting how the phase two pics look desert camo, but the final looks grey tones. I like both, but I agree it would have been just as cool left in phase two.

Very nice job, and you seem to take good care of your rifles, since production stopped on the TRG-21 a while ago... Looks brand new!

Hah! I was there in December - very nice town...

Let us know next time you're in town.

We'll get you out to the WSC for a shoot.

cheers.

If you can afford those two fine rifles, I'm sure you can afford a nice shelf for your Blu-rays. :D

That's the 'currently' watching pile.

I think the library count is around 700 DVDs and Blu-rays. We're a movie watching family. We had to move those shelves out of living room, andinto what is soon to be renovated as a den.

Spray cans and masking tape.

Thinking of making this one its 'twin'. Things I will be changing:
  • Used a bonding promoter
  • On Black layer I am going to use an 80% mask instead of a 90% mask
  • Black will be less jagged and more like other layers by using patterns instead of torn pieces
  • May add a brown layer at 20-30% mask
  • May attempt a darker (loam) green
