Trijicon bible verses revisited

Me neither. I don't think I need someone's personal beliefs marked up on consumer goods. How favourable would people be if it were verses from the Qu'ran?

Exactly... I mean are people buying these optics with this scripture being a big factor in their purchase decision?

trijicon is a private enterprise so they can do as they want, but this practice seems to be a net negative to me

Exactly. I know it's just a marking, but if I ever own a Trijicon I'll be removing the lettering ASAP! I don't need anyone's religious crap on any personal belongings.

I don't believe in the Easter Bunny either...

I think it's cool. They are putting something on their products they believe in and is obviously important to them. It's pretty simple, if you have a problem with it - don't buy one.

I don't intend to. But as others feel it's acceptable, within Canada, to voice their opinion in favour of this "Easter egg", I feel it's acceptable to voice my opinion against this little nugget of religious solicitation. It's pretty simple, if you don't like other people's opinions - don't read them.

Oh my.
Oww duzz yeah know they're not serial numbers?

And how do you folks find this chit?

it is a well documented fact..there have been plenty of threads about this on ar15.com over the years..it was quite a big deal when the US military forced them to remove the references off their ACOGs after they won the military contract

as i said, i am not religious but i think it is very cool..like how the Vikings and Crusaders put stuff on their shield to "protect" their warriors...if i were going in to battle, i would want all the help i could get!

Likewise there bud.

I don't care what you believe, it's everyone's right to believe whatever they want. The thread is about trijicon printing verses on their product, I voiced my opinion. I also offered a solution to those who are butt hurt about the printing.

Well ya! If you are a Christian, it seems logical to want to support a Christian owned company. As a side note these scriptures verses provide you an opportunity to witness to someone else. To a Christian this should be important because that is what we are called to do. Spreading the good word is not a negative thing. The verses themselves do not project any negativity either.

Ahhh the tolerant Christian emerges from the woodwork. Preach the love of Christ, brother! Go read your scope. Lol.

Not sure why you are so bothered by what others believe. Funny how your type always ends up resorting to personal attacks, whatever helps you sleep at night. Sad really.

I'm not bothered by people's beliefs unless those beliefs cause harm to other people. Sorry you think me labelling you as a tolerant Christian is a personal attack.

Yes trijicon printing a verse on their optics really "harms" a lot of people. Wow, keep going.

I think you missed the point I was trying to make.

The biblical references might get them some business they wouldn't otherwise have gotten.... But it is definitely sending away some customers to their competition

It's my guess that this practice is net negative for the company as a whole. I think eventually they will discontinue it when the sales figure stops going up

Even worse... Sometimes business practices drive away customers permanently.... There is a reason I will never shop at questar again (although not related to religion at all)
