Triple 7 powder in cartridges

Going to try some FFg or FFFg in a couple of 38-55's. I read that this powder is not as corrosive as there is no sulphur in it, but then also read best practice is to treat and clean everything as though it is corrosive? Whats the best way to treat things?
Default is always 'do the most' but why waste steps

Have tried a couple rounds and then cleaned as per normal routine and 1st patches were black but cleared up quick
Hope to take the rifle to a BP shoot coming up that will allow some easing of the normal stiff BP-only rules.

It produces less fouling for the most part, but it's still corrosive and needs to be cleaned.

I use it in a 41 Swiss. It doesn’t like to be compressed like regular black powder. Same weight will give more velocity. It does clean up easier than regular BP. I have a few pounds I picked up during the shortage incase my regular black disappeared completely. My plan is to try it with other cartridges and see how it compares with Swiss powder.

38-55 loaded to the 250 bullet base with no compression, takes 20 grains of Triple 7 FFFg by weight
testing in an old Marlin 1893, first with .376 lube leads to watch for pressure signs, that went okay, then stepped to .381 PC leads
First loads were near 1310 fps then the larger bullets were about 40 fps faster and 1/2 the group size
Nice cloud of black smoke, not the white I supposed would happen
easy cleanup at the range with a spray can of brake/parts cleaner and a few patches of G96,
Thinking this might go better with FFg for a little less 'energy'

Try large pistol primers. My group improved. I was using 3f Goex. Using a Savage 99 and Winchester 94 with bullets sized to 0.380. I’ve used cast 250 gr and 335 gr. The 335 are single loaded as too long for the mags. The 94 they touch the rifling and the 99 are 10 thou from touching.
Hopefully the stuff works good for you. I get my firewood out of the way and I’ll have to load some and try them out. I believe I have 9 lbs here which I paid $35 each for. I just checked the local shop price for Swiss, $68 taxes in.
