Trophy room redo

The ceilings are 10'2 finished height. The walls are lined with 7/8" plywood from top to bottom so there is no looking for studs to hang the bigger critters.
 
Like it hasn't been said enough. But congrats on living life like most of us wish to obtain. That is one heck of a nice collection.

all the room needs now is a really nice set of classic stereo speakers, something like a pair of klipschorn's and a nice amp, then a guy could sit and listen to some nice classical music while admiring the wildlife:D

i assume there is a bar there somewhere:)
 
WOW that is one crazy room. I personally don't really understand the trophy hunter mentality (I just like eating them) but that aside I imagine you must be very proud of every animal in that room. Good show.
 
You've made my day. Critique? Do you have a mounted squirrel?
Also, what the heck are those 2 miniature deer? They look like a pair of pygmy shrunken deer head mounts.

Those two pygmy shrunken deer heads are a Southern Bush Duiker ( Left ) and a Klipspringer (Right), both from Zimbabwe's Lowveld.

Thats as big as these guys get...most people when they see them cant believe that they are full grown.....they say I shot a baby.

As you can see I have not much room left down in my trophy room as of right now. That being said it is limiting my future hunting possibilities. I think my days of going over to africa and taking 6-10 animals are long gone, since they are just so beautiful and have to be mounted. Right now i am concentrating on booking fewer hunts overall, and going on some more high end hunts that just involve taking one or two animals.

As of right now the only thing I have BOOKED is a spring Brown Bear hunt on Alaska's Peninsula, which is in 2014 and a pronghorn hunt with Keith Atcheson for October of 2010 in Montana.

I am in the midst of booking a trip for 2011 to Australia to hunt a Water Buffalo and Banteng, and am in correspondence with a few outfitters looking into an Ibex hunt. Other than that my slate is open.... although a cancellation hunt may come up that sparks my interest.

As far as my WANT list :

1: Lord Derby Eland
2: Bongo in Cameroon
3: Mountain Nyala in Ethiopia
4: Polar Bear
