Troy par upgrade kit?

I find that hilarious. “Optional!” Yeah, if you have the aluminum block, shooting your gun will become optional. Pretty simple physics here. The rod is steel, the block is aluminum. Eventually, with operation of the pump, it will peen. Then the bolt won’t lock all the way forward. Then your gun won’t fire.

My .223 is about 1 1/2 years old now with over 1,000 rounds through it. I've only disassembled the op rod, bolt assy, etc twice and had a hard time reassembling it both times, but I have no issues at all with operation. The gun is stock except for an ALG ACT trigger that was installed within the last 200 ish rounds. I guess I got lucky.

They’re only 55 bucks.... when they’re available. Rampart doesn’t even list them anymore.

More like CAD $121.49 today, at least it looks like they are in stock, but what for that money it would be nice to get a new op rod and all the other small related parts.

I was told recently, by one of the guys at Marstar, that Rampart is no longer the Canadian distributor for Troy. You may have to contact Troy directly to figure out where to get one of those kits up here.
