sooo a breif update.. nothing to fancy but hell why not.
got around to trying some decent .22 ammo, i picked up some minimags for my glock .22 conversion and figured id blasth a few threw my trr-sr, and wow was i ever impressed, conditions were 8-12* light misting of rain 0-3kmh gusts, with the minimags i was consistantly shooting MOA or just sub MOA groups, im really looking forward to trying som true taget ammo.
i go rid of the tri-rail in favor of an EGW 20moa rail. much better now.
in another thread i was reading that some top level .22 shooters add brakes to gain accuracy. as with the base of the cast bullet not being 100% uniform when it leaves the muzzle the gases push it one way or another, but with adding the brake the buller leaves under momentum rather then being pushed, so there is a small gain in accuracy. i have NO idea if there is any truth to this or not BUT! i was at the victoria gun show on the weekend, and there was a fellow selling Dlask brakes for .223, low an behold he had the correct thread and brake size diamiter...
SO for the interest of looking cool and being able to stay in the primary that much better, i thought i would make use of my theaded muzzle... quite the tacticool looking longrange "boomer" now haha
ill update soon when i know if the brake really did gain me any accuracy as others have claimed
sorry about the ####ty cell pic
