Trudeau and Blair BAN 12 Gauge and 10 Gauge SHOTGUNS!

The executive branch may look the other way at their own pleasure, but the text is the text.

Yes, you can claim that "they don't intend to target shotguns", but the TEXT is clearly there whether it is intended or unintended. We can argue to the cows come home and try to justify to ourselves whether it is or it is not.

The fact is simple. The text is there. Anytime, any day, they can go after anyone by the book. They do not have to justify to YOU, no matter how much you justify to yourself. When that happens, the judge will make the call.

But the regulation clearly said anything over 20mm. It is the undeniable fact.

If they desire, they'll just issue another OiC specifically exempting pump or break shotguns by type from the first OiC. Done deal.

Any idiot can write an Order in Council (obviously).

I only have 2 12 gauge and one 10 gauge, this feel worst than a dozen AR, they really went deep and fast… and very dry.

From what I understand, it might not be that easy. Apparently C71 allows them to move guns from NR to prohib, but not the other way around.
Would need a lawyer to cobfirm though.

Well that just took me from 2 rifles to 6 prohibs real quick.

Hopefully Elmer will join the battle. Even my anti “assault rifle” Fudd uncle is now an “assault weapons” owner. Cant wait to rub that salt in his wounds.

Really , you want to buy my 460 Weatherby for a very low price ...... oh wait , you can't , it's prohibited , and yes , it's a bolt action hunting rifle . Shake your head brother .
 
So now, trudeau and blair are in trouble....if they dont fix this, they just alienated exponentially more people than they thought, including liberal hunters....if they do fix it, then they admit to breaking the law (C71) and prohibiting firearms they deem reasonnable for hunting, which rids the entire OIC of any credibility.
