A downright reflection of our society eh ? now that's an understatement . I have found most people don't give a dam anymore. as I have said before the only reason this Idiot is in power is because all those involved who wanted weed got off their butts and voted for this fool we have in power and were paying for their mistake . I actually have had people - fools tell me I don't think were paying enough Taxes and I think we should be paying more . and your speaking to the wrong person I don't mind paying more taxes. too bad it's Illegal for me to extend my arm and slap these people so hard their teeth rattle .


if ding dong wins again you mark my word people it's going to create a thriving market for Illegal gun sales . it's will be a sellers market .

I see us mobilizing to go to battle over the guns, but I worry that that’s exactly what the liberals want. I know speaking up for firearms rights is what comes naturally to us, but I think we should be rather low key on the issue, and let Trudeau’s scandals fester in the public eye, instead of engaging in a distracting gun rights push that will only help him to keep/add leftist votes.

By all means, we should be ready for a fight, but I think any newsworthy movement pre election can only hurt our chances of ousting the liberals. Save it for the 22nd imho.

I am inclined to agree. By talking about guns weare simply taking the bait and letting him change the channel.

His gun ban was offered with no new info, no new 'facts' no new studies or research. In otherwords its old news.

I get far more traction with liberals by simply dismissing the AR ban as another gratuitous promise like electoral reform and then talking about how he is failing on all his promises and is a phony who is just having fun.
 
Just some food for thought...the RCMP released details of the two psycho teens that went on a murder spree a couple of months back. They were found with two SKSs, one of which was dressed up in a very scary black polymer stock with a dreaded pistol grip. I am curious if trudeau will latch onto this to further fuel his firearms ban agenda. I haven't heard the media mislabel the firearms yet as "assault weapons" or such, but I haven't heard them being referred to by name either so I'm sure there's still time.

Trudeau don't care about the legal owners of firearms
all he cares about is winning the election.

Criminals will not be effected any which way crime will still exits just like illegal drugs.
lawyers and judges will benefit as usual (we all know it a revolving door for the criminal).

we all stand to lose on this.

HUH.. Now I understand why CBSA is holding and inspecting my poly SKS stock..
it has the dreaded pistol grip and folding stock for easy concealment???
the loonie left are infiltrating our LE's and making up rules and laws on a whim..
Canadian Prepper had a vid the other day and his thoughts are.. we are on a list..
And will be the first ones detained under a SHTF melt down if law and order is even still in place

It seems that they have (finally) realized what a shallow, arrogant and ridiculous person he is. An embarrassment. Unfit to be PM.

I think Scheer is smart to be low key on the issue, and when asked, hammer away with “Justin is doing nothing about going after gangs and gun smugglers, who are the real problem.”

Yep. We need to be very careful and intentional this election. There’s no room for mistakes. Not only is there too much at stake for us this election, but defeating a liberal government after a single term has only happened twice in Canadian history. If we can pull this off, it’s a big damn deal.

Justin isn't doing nothing about going after gangs and gun smugglers. He's doing next to nothing. Debatably he may be doing worse than nothing.

He reduced the criminal code penalties.

In his 2015 election promises, he promised "provide $100 million each year to the provinces and territories to support guns and gangs police task forces to take illegal guns off our streets and reduce gang violence;"
They didn't do that their first few years.
They re-announced it in late 2018, and it appeared in the 2019 budget as $300 million to be handed out over 5 years if re-elected. Some of that to police to deal with gangs and CBSA to deal with smuggling.

So, over 600 million to take 250,000 guns that have a ridiculously low likelihood of causing harm and ban handguns from cities when police from coast to coast say that's not a real problem, vs
of the 300 million only about 30 million actually promised to be handed out this year, with several of those being 2 year promises if re-elected, during the Bill Blair canada whistlestop tour during the period before the election where it was mostly illegal to advertise for the election, to go and get the people and guns with extremely high likelihood of causing harm.
