TSX Bang Flops

Whoooo hooow...he's an internet legend, awesome accomphisment. :jerkit:
But it did take his input to bring it to a near lock down....didn't it?

no, what got this topic sidetracked was your four consecutive spazz posts

1-
Bartell, you think I have a problem spending 50 bucks? I s**t money you save OK. D'you need proof? Your one-liner smart-arse comments don't impress me...BOY.

2-
Yup, that's the reason that Bartell and the likes of him "ring" up so many posts, their one-liner stupid comments.

Edit: see, it all started with an intelligent conversation and debate until some "wanabee" punk rap music loving tit sucking little know-it-all- PUNK chimed in....

3-
Bulls**t, bulls**t, bulls**t Foxer. Sorry but f**k it, I won't take crap from that little smart-assed kid. I don't fall into the "Bartell Godlinesss" bulls**t, bulls**t. Do what you gotta do man.

4-
No envy or whatever you may think Salty, I just don't take to being told to STFU by some punk without reprisal.....anything wrong with that?

Gitthef**kout....

you apparently going through some sort of mid-life crisis, I am 26 years old, who cares? Because I know more than you do at age 66 - no need to throw tantrems on an internet forum. It's almost 9pm in Alberta, shouldnt you be in bed by now? :jerkit:

lol: Tod, thanks for using my pic as your Avatar. I love it man, maybe one day I'll be famous just like you, I doubt it though. Cool man, keep up the good work. ;)

I was about to ask who the avatar pic is.

Bottom line, on larger game and at high velocities Barnes TSX's are a great combination of accuracy, penetration and expansion.

Great hunting bullets.

Question is, shatferbrains, do you wanna fuk with ME. I'm a lot younger and a lot stupider than bartell

Hey....who asked you anyways? This is a thread for men. I thaught you were banned or at least restricted to the children forum. Go away Mr. Maggoo_Oh yes, you are a lot younger and stupider than Bartell, so what's you're point, you are a lot younger and stupider that 99.999437862% of the planet....so FOFF. BTW. your humongest chin make an awesome target...get the point duffus?+

Why is it that you guys who can't shoot worth a s**t need premium expensive bullets to do the job that you f**ked up on in the first place ???? :D:D:D:D:D

Thats not very accurate. Now Bartel and Gatehouse might be BC hippies but I've shot with both of them and they deffinately can shoot very well.

I've used tsx's in my 25/06 AI on deer. Both "bang flops", my first year using them in that rifle. The one moose I took with them using my 300 ultra mag wasn't a "bang flop" but it was down and out in less than 40 yards. I've yet to see how they do from my 8mm mag on moose, but I have no doubt that they'll fair well when the opportunity presents itself.

No no. (Sorry TB)

You mentioned ME in a PM to TB. So unless you want ME brought into it, keep your fat mouth SHUT. Clear?

So it's true, you're Tod's sister?

Edit: why do you block your PM's. I'd like to send you a personal invitation to a BBQ of mine?

I had two bang flops with pain out soft point flat base bullets this year. Come to think of it I've had alot of bang flops with regular bullets in the 6.5x55. Maybe I don't need the TSX ;) Ok, I was planning on trying them next year in the 6.5 and maybe in the 338win anyway. Sounds like a good bullet.

My daughter shot a WT doe at 320 yds with her 7-08 using TSX's. I was surprised at the complete pass through at that distance. I have loaded 300 gr. TSX's for my .375 but haven't taken an animal yet. The bullets that I have used so far are Speer GS's, Accubonds and Interlocks. All have performed very well. The TSX's have yet to justify their extra cost. The interesting thing though is that the el'cheapo Interlocks have proven themselves as good as anything elses that I've used. My most dramatic bang flop came this year out of 265gr. Interlock in .444 Marlin. Never have I seen an animal literally get flipped over onto it's back with all 4 pointing skyward. Bottom line, I'm not disregarding the TSX, I just need to see it with my own eyes.

I've killed critters with most bullet brands, including Ballistic Tips, Accubonds, Partitions, Fail Safes, Grand Slams, Sierra Boat Tail, Speer Hot Core, Speer Boattail, Hornady Interlock, Hornady Interbond, Hornady SST, and Hornady Vmax...others escape my memory currently.

I have yet to see a bullet as consistantly accurate AS WELL as consistantly deadly as the TSX. Below are a small number of TSX killed critters shot with my 280AI and 140gr TSX from ranges out to 452 yards.

A bullet that can bang flop critters as small as coyotes WAAAAY out there, go lengthwise on a grizz (and exit), and dump large critters with ease from most angles is hard to argue with.

Price never enters into the equation where performance is concerned (be it real or perceived), and I have trouble wanting to use any other bullet these days.....

280 Ackley makes a point. The TSX's did the job that he asked of them. He also post pics of the Interlocks, in all honesty my Interlocks looked just like those that he shows. Bottom line is that all animals that I took with Interlocks that looked just the same were....dead. So what's the point? If you like the TSX's...great and I like my Interbonds....great too. So far no one has yet to prove a difference, price wise maybe. But hey, bullet choices are one of the marketing choices that we enjoy.

Bartell did prove a huge difference though, he has an uncanny capability with his Photoshop expertise. Good on you Tod, glad to see that you've developed an artfull form. Good to see you progress from the "etch-a-sketch". I'll remember that next time that you post "trophy" pictures of your big game adventures. Oh wait...no, you hunt little doggies don't you? Oh well....never venture outside of your capabilities, that is what mommy coaches every day before you venture outta the playpen, isn't it. ;) Now F'n Git....

two be honest I've only shot a mule deer and a moose with a Triple Shock X :D although I have shot about a dozen head of game (black bears, deer, moose) with the original X bullet, which performed on game just as well as the new TSX, but didnt shoot as accurate in the average rifle, and fouled barrels bad.

My last eight big game animals have fallen to : Nosler Ballistic Tip, Nosler Accubond, Barnes TSX, Sierra GameKing, and Speer MagTip, and Nosler Partitions. I like to spread it around ;)
