I love the value oriented semi auto rimfires.
Only it seems that if you get any of the relatively cheaper .22 semis, the cost of four or five magazines might well be more than the price of the rifle.

I once had a Marlin 60, and now am seriously thinking of getting another but good luck with that given what ever happened to Marlin.

So, long story short, what are the tube fed semi autos out there?

You could just handicap yourself with the new semis by just owning one mag, that would be similar to having a rifle with 10 in a tube
then one could compare the time and effort of reloading a 10 rnd rotary or stick mag vs loading a tube

Other than another Marlin 60. I only know of the Browning SA22, their chinese clone, Mossberg 151, Winchester 150 & 190, Savage 87D and the 6A, Rem Nylon 66. But alot of them are older.

Browning SA22 and the Marlin 60 are probably still newest ones made.

Marlin 60s are out there - used - and some are good deals if the owner can't get them to run reliably. They can be finiky to get the ejector spring 'tuned right' and many are 'over-lubed' causing poor feed/cycling. Best bet for those is watch ####### and EE, they pop up sometimes.
Also, Browning SA22s are out there if you really want a $1000 (tx-in) 22LR or the Norinco JW-20 for ca $150 - i you can find one.
And always older Cooeys if you watch EE for a while.
BTW, the Savage rotary mags are only ca $30-40 and run just fine, but the A22 can be flakey IMO. My B22-FV is dandy and super accurate for ca $400 or so.

Actually I like magazines better, but say you buy a RS22 or a Plinster for $200, then another four or five mags cost another $200. So, maybe time to rethink not having to buy mags or fish around pockets for them.

There must be many Mossberg 151Ms out there used. Mine shoots well, although it can be a pain if you have a feed/ejection problem.

Yep, I have a Sav-64 semi and 10 mags @ $30 each. But I've worn out a few too. My B22 only owns 4x, but I have a 455 & 457 and 8x mags between them. If I get a good string going I don't have to stop and let the chamber cool off - ring-ring-ring. But I made 2x 'speedy-loaders' for my Marlin-60, giving 8x15 rounds of 'quick-dump' reloads.

Another one that you'd have to find on the used shelf is the Weatherby XXII. Full size, usually had pretty good accuracy. Could function as a single shot. I had a couple over the years and really had no complaints about them.

Nah, the tube mag options tend to handle much more nicely - Especially with the tube in the buttstock.

I think your pricing is not current - Used Brownings come up around $600-700 pretty regularly, and Tilsonburg has it new for under $900. The Norinco seem to go for around $300 give or take . These can be a good option, but I'd be careful not to overpay.

Good list. You see them around if you watch the EE here and on GP, etc.. I bet a WTB ad would bring some options in, too.

Savage / Lakefield / Cooey 64 magazines are not bad at $30 each (cheaper used or on sale, of course), and carry in the pocket pretty nicely compared to many 22LR magazines.

Savage 6/Stevens 87/Springfield style rifles, many variations of this one. Mossberg 51, 151, 351. Remington Speedmaster, 550, and Nylon. Winchester 190, 290, 63, 74 and 77 come to mind. Browning SA22. Marlin/Glenfield as you know. These are the common ones off the top of my head.
