.....Twelvette.....

If there's such a thing as a auto that points like a double, this is it. Hard gun to miss with. Has a strange lack of recoil, just vibrates a bit. Don't know how that works, but suspect sorcery is involved.

I traded a fillet knife for mine; and he threw in a Savage bolt action .308. :)

Browning shotguns being built in Belgium have barrels and chambers measured using the metric system. Chambers are 65,70 and 75 mm. My Double Auto’s barrels measure 70mm which is 27 1/2 inches and 75mm equaling 29 1/2 inches. My third had a Cutts installed at some point but has modified barrel marking.

Well, after foolishly selling my DA to Gunsaholic many years ago and regretting it almost instantly I walked into my local gun shop this afternoon and lo and behold, he had a DA “Twentyweight” two barrel set. IC and skeet. 6 pounds even. Gun is in high original condition, in fact barely looks to have been used. And it was priced right. So it came home with me.

That’s one gun selling mistake fixed. A few more to go!

How about a pic James!!

Actually, I just tracked down a twenty weight for a family friend. It had belonged to his uncle and got sold when he passed 30 years ago. Managed to find the owner and was able to buy it back for my friend. The fellow who had it never shot it since buying it. It's still in the original box and looks like it was never shot by the original owner.

Now, that just has to be pic worthy too ;)
Good score and even a Better Deed.

I don't have the gun. I just tracked it down and made the deal on my friend's behalf so he could have it back in the family. There isn't a mark on the gun though.
On another note, I did own a twenty weight as well but I sold it to a young fellow a couple of years ago. A mistake on my part.
