Does yours have factory codes?. My Marstar type 56 has no codes(actually nothing) only S/Ns and I still cannot get an answer as to why this is.
What kind of bayo does it have? If a blade it may be a 1956! Does it have a star?Does yours have factory codes?. My Marstar type 56 has no codes(actually nothing) only S/Ns and I still cannot get an answer as to why this is.
I think the ones you are talking about are the SKS the Chinese sent to vietnam and labeled them M 21 and a No plus serial # between 7 million and 9 million these would likely be the clandestine copies ! Someone kindly gave me a site ( yooperj.com) has a lot of SKS info, also a stickies at the top of the red rifle page!Would that be the Chinese SKS known as a "Clandestine" or "Ghost" model I've read of?

Yes OC-3 gave me yooperj.com site and it takes some looking but might help you find your year etc! Spike usually means a bit newer! Some cool info on that site though!Spike bayonet...absolutely NO MARKINGS ANYWHERE...only S/n matching on all parts and stock.
Your comment doesn't seem to make sense! Can you elaborate on UGLY?Is the barrel threaded, or ugly?
By Ugly he means pinned. As per the no factory code one of the factories does not punch a factory code, its still a type 56.
