**TYPE 81 7.62x39 Service Rifle** ~IN STOCK -NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Got mine delivered today. And even with the “colour fixed” pieces for the folding stock mine has three different colours of wood furniture. Also has a good bend to it but as I see that’s normal (still annoying)

Can you post a pic of top profile with bend? Also does it appear to be bent on the receiver, the folding stock or th whole rifle?

I got the fixed stock model straight as an arrow, was debating on the folder but seems the folders are most affected!?!?

Got mine out and it's certainly minute of barn door. I was hoping for car door, but whatever.

That front sight resists all efforts to drift it. I had brought along an SKS/AK sight tool, but forgot to pack along a pipe wrench to persuade it with.

I have seen about 6 of these rifles in person and none were bent ? funny thing is if i look down my rifle with one eye open it looks a little bent but with both eyes open it looks straight and when i checked it with a straight edge it was fine . Strip the rifle down and look down the barreled action with both eyes open .If some of these were as bent a people say they would not be able to zero the sights.

No, the barrel is straight, the bend is where the barrel meet the receiver. Both sights are on the barrel.

Looks weird and feel weird. No good for mounting a rail on the receiver.

Same with mine. I stripped the woods and restained it a dark Cherry which mellowed out the differences. The clear coat goes on Sunday. Ill post pics when my bolt comes back from Nickle plating and I have the whole thing back

I think your better off doing what I did and taking off the fixed stock and modify another stock to fit little bit of work but then you have a bunch of choices depending on how much you want to spend and how much you want to modify
