compensation in the form of a logical explanation of their handling of the whole process would be enough

they brought 1000 type 81's to the Canadian market. They submitted a sample to the rcmp in like 2013, which underwent 3.5 years of scrutiny at the lab, then a year production delay, while dealing with all the cry babies...they've given us relevant updates EVERY SINGLE TIME something changed that would affect anyone who ordered...not sure what more you want from them..

How about the mags I ordered and my rifle before someone who ordered 8 days ago and got over 8 mags? How hard is that to understand?

Why do you even post here? You a TI shill?

Can't wait till everybody gets there rifles and all this negative chatter dies down! Recieved rifle yesterday, already have 150 plus rounds down the pipe. Rifle is light and handy with decent fit and finish. Could live without the grenade launcher, just extra weight imo. Expect about the same accuracy as a norc m-305 in same caliber but much lighter, nicer platform.

Very happy

Oh man, that grinded down bolt carrier reminds me of those "pristine" M1 Garands Marst@r imported from "Italy" some time ago... then it soon turned out some idiot gunsmith in Germany went at them with a welding torch and a grinder to make the bolts function right because they f--ked-up the barrel threading on them, lol.

I wonder what the grinding of the bolt carrier story is with this Type 81. If it requires grinding/destructive adjustments of any internals, it should be automatically considered a "parts gun" by the dealer IMHO.

Does the muzzle grenade launcher also function as a flash suppressor or is it threaded right to the muzzle? Is it removable?

it is only a grenade launcher, it does not function as flash suppressor, it is removable however so im hoping someone braver than myself will try removing it and maybe see what can be done in the way of a muzzle device

Also, if any folders come grinded down like that, the owners will be SOL since every single one is sold out... hopefully that won't be the case though. After all, this isn't a $200 gun, right? ;)

(fingers crossed!)
