That's too bad. I would really have liked original-style markings.
Same here... if you buy a firearm from whatever country.. it would be nice to have that country marks on it!

Yes but sometimes we have to sacrifice a little marking in order to be able to get a new firearm into the Canadian market.
The marking is found on the FA military counterparts and really, I don't blame TI for being extra cautious when it comes to that.
We don't know what that criteria for RCMP approval was, and a little marking could have changed its status completely.
If you are very keen, I am sure someone can make the factory /26\ punch for you and you can put as many as you want all over your gun.![]()

Maybe I will get 666 laser into the side..
Whatever floats your boat. Just make sure it doesn't say "Molon labe" or the RCMP will be knocking... remember the CZ's?
Lol I remember yeah... what a bureaucratic circus this country has turned itself into.
I guess we have a M10X fan boy here,LOL.for your information bud,the SKS,Type81,AK's will be around LONG after your little aluminum toy will in the junk heap.so dont try and make it sound like this new toy will outlast ACTUAL military firearms,LOL.that's rich, granted the M10 is a great idea and a nice looking weapon, but to compare it's longevity with that of weapons that have been around for many decades is just a joke,

I also remember the cz858 were prohibited as converted autos, still are listed as converted autos, and certain specific brand names were exempted by law as NR or R instead of being prohib as converted autos. The only NR and R converted autos in Canada.
The type 81s aren't converted auto. Don't rely on an OIC with specific named models exempted by pic, and thus has nothing to worry about with a brand change highlighted by different branded stocks....
Yes... it was a joke.![]()
It's hard to tell between who jokes and who really doesn't get it...
