As I mentioned "the wood to metal fitting is very NORINCO, ugly but solid" if my $500 hunting rifle comes with wood fitted like this I would be pissed lolhahaha this is what im thinking too..... everybodys like "ooo the wood looks good" .... and Im sitting here like, "it looks like some child laborer carved it out using a can saw lol" glad I ordered a folder. But I guess many will argue the barbaric nature of the wood adds to the whole Chincom Norinco nostalgia of the gun.
thanks for the tipYour leather tabs on the sling are installed wrong

but no, I love it, it feels exactly as it should be, you can take it thru hell and wont have to worry about a thing.

They all come with them, If you didnt pay the extra 29$ they will take it out before shipping... lol...
Im actually impressed by the finish, I expected way worse .
You can get those repo slings for $9 from marstar, I opted for a surplus real pla nos version stamped 1980, was like $12 can shipped. Ti is crazy on those sling prices

Any experience to compare these with a norinco ak?
mine is also stamped 1980... lol... Ti's dont look like they are stamped
Early adopters get an extra mag and sling. Late buyers get their rifles first. Figures.
Right? Some thanks for holding on since March 2016 lol
