This would line up with what I had hypothesized on this thread a while ago. Think about it: why would they ship out only pre-ordered fixed stocks AND new orders of fixed stocks without sending out the pre-ordered folders? At my work, it takes two people 20 minutes max to unload the back of a full truck with a forklift and pallet jack, and those trucks are about half the size of a shipping container. So even if the folders were at the back of the container, that excuse doesn't hold water. The idea that a company that's so stingey that they won't bring in temporary labour to help offload the shipment (it's not like this was a surprise) would be willing to pay the lease on a shipping container for an extra 3 weeks kind of stretches credibility.

At the end of the day, happy we'll be getting our rifles. It's been a long time, and many people have shown patience through all the delays, uncertainty, and lack of information. But this entire process has been very eye-opening regarding either TI's efficiency or honesty.

I may have missed it, but I don't recall TI ever saying anything about how the container was loaded. I think that was just some gunnut hypothesizing.......

All I recall them actually saying was that fixed are going out first, and they are doing them in batches of similar orders. (So 1 fixed stock plus 5 extra mags all go out at the same time, then they wokr on all fixed stocks with 6 extra mags etc)

it's somewhere in the 1000's of comments but they did say it

Post Office closed on weekend but have a large number done for Monday. No particular order, but due to how the container was packed fixed stocks are the first ones out.

They could have taken 4 hours to unload the container to get both fixed and folders out.... But nope why do that when you can screw over folding customers who ordered in 2016 for some guy who ordered a fixed last week!

Lol this is true. My last update was the 12th saying it was leaving Winnipeg.. a mere 20 hour drive away.. yet here I wait anxiously

Don't forget... truck drivers can only spend so much time driving per day... as well any stops they may need to make along the way... I Had one rifle that was to show up on a Thursday... but didn't get it till Monday. But for about 2 dozen other iteims ... I find they show up the day before its due!

Well i got my type 81 fixed stock today! i live in maple ridge and it took about 3 days once i got tracking number.

initial impression of the gun is really good, im actualy quite suprised with the fit and finish. and the magazines are very good quality. wood is decent, not as good fit as my cz, but definitely acceptable.

I prefer the weight and overall feel of it much better then my cz858, it probably isn't as accurate, but less recoil with the increased weight.

Im hoping to make some dummy grenades to fire with some makeshift blanks, is that legal?

Are you a member at PCDHFC? I'd love to compare my folder to your fixed whenever it gets here. :)
