Thanks klaus, your opinion would be valuable as you have 4 friggin folders lol. I'm hoping TI responds with instructions to return/exchange on Monday. By next weekend I will be in Edmonton for the holidays or I'd take you up on your offer to meet at Abby. I have confirmed that all of the mags function in a fixed stock that I had quick access to. I haven't had the chance to see another folder in person yet and seeing yours would have put more into perspective.
Since you have a large sample of 4 folders, can you confirm if this is normal/defective for the rear stock to be twisted as seen below?
both mine are like this, no problems
I also consider the folding stock to be a non issue. 3 of my 4 are on straight or straight enough. Only one is a bit more out than the rest.
If I feel bugged by it enough I got a big vise and a pipe wrench to persuade it back to the straight and narrow.

Well I received my replacement rifle today. The magwell on this one doesn't have even a quarter of the mag wobble my initial one did and the BHO works like it should. Folding stock is still canted clockwise, which I'm going to assume they're all like that unless someone shows me different. This rifle appears to be a keeper to me so I'm happy with how it worked out. Now it's time to get out and shoot it.
The rifle I returned had three mags and this replacement only came with two, the replacement is also missing the spare cheek pieces and lastly they still forgot my preorder sling.

Another quick update, today I received the 3rd mag and sling that were missing. TI also threw in the latest issue of the Calibre magazine and some TI stickers. I'd like to thank Neil for his all of his help in getting me sorted out. Very happy with everything now and just waiting for the additional magazines to come in like everyone else.

Well the original rifle I received had 3 but then I only got 2 with my replacement, don't ask me lol. I'm sure if they originally sent you 2 they have record of how many are owed and will sort you out when the mag shipment comes in. I just didn't want the 1 that I got shorted in my exchange to get lost from the books so I said something about it. Hang in there bud

Yeah, but q1 2018 had become "spring 2018", which is technically q2.
Solely outdoors website says "estimate late spring" for their t81 pre order. So yeah... Definitely Q2, lol.
