I agree a .308 or any bigger 30 cal version of a com block rifle would require a total redesign and I doubt norinco will develop a rifle like that for us. But what about a certain manufacture here in canada? (Wont say name on another sponsors forum)
They made their own version of the cz858, yeah they would have to redesign and get new tooling and what not but I'd theres enough interest it might be worth it.
Yeah you would have to submit it to get an frt but knowing it practically the same as their version of the cz just scaled up, you then know it would get approved as non restricted.
We managed to get ourselves the stag 10, bcl102, wk180, slr and the modern sporter in our hands that resemble an ar why cant we get one that resembles a svd, psl, m76, or a vepr
I could buy an xcr or a stag 10 but they just dont really tickle my fancy, I like wood on my rifle haha

Finally a necro thread bump I agree with.
They're already not able to secure production runs of the regular ones because our market is so small, what makes people think the Chinese are going to want to try to figure out how to make a gun that they probably never had full tooling for that they likely haven't even thought about since 1989 for said small market?
