Type 81 is approved!!!!!

The sad part is its been in the gun lab for years... wtf? I asked a RCMP who was at the house of Commons yesterday about the gun lab and he had no clue about it. He had a rank that was 2 diamonds and a crown or something?

That would be a chief superintendent. Possibly Brendan Heffernan if it was in Ottawa, but he's at the Criminal Real Time Identification Services dept. so it explains why he might not know anything.

Parts kits and blank receivers anyone????
Over 1000 for one of these guns from China seems like your paying purely for the look of an ak and not the actual product...

Now that the Type 81 is approved for us Canucks and I know you have links with the Chinese, is it.possible to get this ball rolling to bring these in for us??

for those of us who would like to know a bit more about this particular rifle, the following YouTube video is enlightening.

Except that's not what we will be getting here.

Well on a second thought, if they will be making new ones they might do it in a different caliber than 7.62x39.

Yeah that pretty much is close if not exact what we will be getting here except ours will be in 7.62x39 tho

Except the gun in the video is 5.56 if I remember correctly ... I watched that a while ago. Just wanted to make sure people are aware we're not getting a copy of some rare prototype.

Yeah. That's why I said except.ours will.be in 7.62x39 but even then the 7.62x39 will almost be the exact same copy of the 5.56 one

Sadly the price is probably going to be ridiculous for what is pretty much an sks.

A valid point.

However; By the time you've dressed up an SKS to look like that, you've usually spent quite a bit of time and money.
