Type 81 lmg

Is there any hope of getting the lmg rear stock so i can put it on my fixed stock type 81 i think it would work really well.????
It'd be quicker, cheaper, and perhaps even easier to just make your own. You wouldn't have the super-special buttplate of the LMG but it's not like that would make it any less Frankenstein-y.

Anybody seen or used these? Is there a review out there? 28435996-ACA8-462A-8195-0F86F6C7C11B.jpeg

I had one that I imported from a Chinese milsurp dealer. I was not too impressed with the mounting method. It didn’t feel sturdy at all and did not hold zero. The mount also did not allow the folding stock to close folded and the eye relief sucked. Sold it for what I paid for it, now I’m waiting on the TI mount coming in hopefully soon.

Use the search function. This question Question has been answered. Scope is not cheap, difficult to find, has a poor reticle and mount does not hold zero.

No. But if people are receiving their drum mag internal kits now, makes me think a shipment has arrived from China and may go on sale soon (just speculation though)

where did you see that people are receiving their drum kits??
i didnt see that anywhere, and i am on the list

Post #79 in this thread has the answer (imgur isn't being nice currently, so I can only see the image in incognito mode in chrome for some reason).

I have received the new drum spindle... Thanks so much to TI!

Can anyone share - how to replace the original spindle with this new one? I cannot take the old one off from the drum. Tried to loose the center key by turning it counterclockwise, but it won't turn.

Help!!

TI mentioned they will be putting out a how to video in the near future

You have to just barely cut the spot welds on the old wing nut

Make sure you weld or pin new stop for 5 round capacity

Yes for sure I will do that - 100%. Thanks for reminding everyone.

I don't want to do it until I see the video released by TI. If I break it this is not cheap. :-(
