Type 81 packaging question - for those who received their rifles

I bet they shipped with foam, just like the sample.

The better question is who got a bent rifle?! So far several people have.

What's also unacceptable is that another seller got their rifles from TI, sold them all and already shipped them out, at a DISCOUNTED price! wtf TI.

That's not right.

I agree.

I have really tried to support TI and be extremely patient, but man, this is really a kick in the balls when I'm still waiting on my order that was suppose to be hear by the end of the week...

Well if it shipped you are doing better than I, but let's stay on topic. There enough threads about shipping delays already.

Just got my fixed and folder this afternoon!

Folder is bent like the other guys!!! :( bent to the right as you shoulder it. Looks to be poor quality control! Check your rifles!!!!! Fixed might be ever so slightly too, but hard to tell the way I was checking. Should be ok I think.

Wasn't the packaging. The boxes were well packed and the boxes were in perfect condition with everything zip tied down nicely.

Disappointed, but at least one seems to be ok.

Not one of the four Norinco AR's that I have bought over the years have come with any foam in the box, just a rifle in a sealed plastic bag, cant remember if they were zip tied to the box, I think so though.

Why does it matter anyway? Each rifle was advertised to come with 2 mags. Each rifle box may have included more then 2 mags from the factory but again the selling price was $999.00 with 2 magazines.

my CZ858 was 750$ free shipping with 4 mags, sling, cleaning/tool kit and bayonet and made in a far better Factory and was converted in the Factory(extra cost before sale) so with all these price factors all though years ago I think the point this guy is getting at, is this is a 500$ Rifle being sold with pre-order 3 mags, cleaning kit and sling for 999$ before shipping ! soooooo....... Hes just curious on how and where they are making extra profit correct me if Im wrong ?! ( side note : you'd think selling guns cheaper would mean more sales and more fan base and attract new PAL holders = good business practice long run but what do I know. )

Oh I'm all for great prices and quality on what I purchase. I don't doubt that these rifles came from China in those exact boxes that people are receiving there rifles in, and I don't doubt that each rifle box included more then 2 mags along with the sling when the importer received them from China.

There isn't a business owner/operator on this planet that is 100% honest, they are out to make as much money as they can and as easily as they can...

How a business makes there profit isn't my business and I don't think it is anybody else's business as well but that's just my opinion.

Perhaps TI purchased a PLA-kit of rifle + specified mags and they didn't send the actual order of extra mags. Who knows? its only sketchy if they stated otherwise

Zip tied to the box with tools and oil bottle free to rattle. Everything else was bagged and secured.
Just wish the Chinese would not use whatever oil it is they put on the rifle. Apparently I'm sensitive to the sh*t and need to mask up and wear gloves to do the first thorough cleaning
