Looking at the wear on that PLA rifle, I'm thinking a battleworn Cerakote finish would be an interesting finish for these. I'd be interested to know what PLA regulars think of the gun - since some folks are in contact. Might have to get a CJ650 to strap the gun to.

You would probably thread a few together. Group cleaning affair like German Mauser rods.

What factory built the production sample?

Timothy yans article on guns and ammo never mentioned factory 26 built these, he said it was factory 266 and 356.

You caught the propaganda music, good ear. From my understanding they are made at factory 26 and distributed by Polytech. I have been sent many pics from Chinese soldiers since I posted my pics of the Type 81, and all theirs seem to be 26 as well.

But that would be something for TI to confirm, I cant be certain.
