Type-81 pictures, range reports, and modifications thread

easy to find "Type 81 MLOK handguard" on GP and $270 shipped is very good pricing.

and for LMG coming next month is great.

I hope it doesn't go against CGN rules, but we're shipping handguards out tomorrow.

If you would happen to like one, take a quick search on #######! (I definitely can't drop my own links here, I've learned that!)

well bud.... your products are cool but you are wayyyyy passed breaking the rules here.
As a small business operator it would be great if I could freely do market research here, freely build a customer base and freely sell my products here..... but that is not the way things work. I was a dealer here for 3 years I think..... then took a break.... thought about advertising here but my margins are too slim to afford the basic dealer fees on this site. So I choose to Not break the rules and I don't talk about my products here on CGN. I find it completely unfair and underhanded that guys like you come to these sites and fragrantly break the rules until you get caught.

I hope the site shows you the door because if I did what you are doing here , that would be the result.
pay to play like everyone else , that's how things work.

Super easy. There’s a couple YouTube videos. Basically turn the sight dial half way between two positions and slide it off

since its necessary to remove the top HG to be access to the gas block so the oem should be easy. i'm assuming FC is asking about gyro's.

Looks like three screws each side, and I believe there's also a screw that goes into the cleaning rod hole. So, a screwdriver should be handy.

so to remove the top HG is removing 6 screws. not too bad. the cleaning rod screw is probably for the lower HG.

Anybody have any pictures or know what the difference is with the “OR” guns? Was looking at getting a folder, but don’t plan on mounting optics.

The non-optic ready fixed stock has a left side safety. The non-OR folder, OR folder, and OR fixed stock have right-side safeties. The OR's hammer and trigger pins project out the left side the receiver with a threaded portion to attach a side optics rail. You could probably easily get a nut to cover the threads if you want until you get an optic.
