Just checking if anyone has any leads on a fixed wooden buttstock?
I'd like to switch out my clubfoot with a nice wooden one.
Thanks
I might have one if I switch out my wood stock for a folding one.

Full-on tacticool T81, including top-end 'tactical maglight'I'm actually pretty happy with the way it turned out. Quadrail (tri-rail, I guess, since I'm not using the top quarter) under the cheapo rail covers, Tactical Imports optic mount, 90-degree safety, and the AKSU stock. I might swap the AKSU stock for a Galil one, but I need a different bolt for it.

Love it!
I’m not trying to be negative but I can’t understand why some of you guys switch out the factory folder. It’s excellent... smooth folding and rock solid lock up. It’s the best quality part on the gun.
People are not switching out the factory folder; as you said, it would be useless and would also be extremely hard to do. People who have fixed stock rifles, on the other hand can reversibly use modded AK stocks or VZ stocks with an adapter. Those swapping a fixed stock will often choose a folder.
I put a Firefield Impulse 1x30 Red Dot on mine as I thought it would be good enough for now but once installed it sits way too high on the rail with cheek weld that I can barely see through it (the battery compartment adds significant height).
Looking for a more low profile replacement that is < $200-250, any suggestions?

Holds up pretty well for corn-based plastic with a low melting point!
Getting it machined this saturday and then real testing can beginmore updates to follow.
Manual BHO a work in progress, ignore it's chunky construction.

WOW, more info on... well, everything, please! Will you be manufacturing some of that?!
I like that lower and upper handguard. You've mounted a red dot on it, so I'm assuming it's got a tight lockup that retains zero?
