They are Fiberglas and do can withstand heat. Guncoat And about n hour baking time at 275. They will not melt ! However I much say I take no responsibility if #### goes south lol

Like some other members I’ve been using slightly modded AK mags very successfully. Ordered a couple modded pmags from Hical and modded another myself. Also have a few steel mags I will be trying out soon?

my stock was crooked so i took it apart to try to fix it and it came off supprisingly well

The AK pmags are a nice design objectively, but i'm not sure I like the look with this specific metal+wood gun. No bolt lock on empty is also not great.
I can see how the smaller ones would be convenient for the range though.

I myself bought a few tapco 10/5 rounders that should be here Friday. Hopefully it’s not too much of a pain

The holes in the wood are bigger than the pins. It's the holes in the receiver that matter. I found the pins go back easily but they were lose to start with. I tapped them back but plan to replace them with Chicago scews in the future. I bought some black aluminum Chicago screws from eBay. They will look quite nice.
