Type 81 Trainer (Norinco XS-B3-1)

Here we go again with the "don't talk about it because the authorities will find out"....

Maybe before the age of information...

I stumbled across this video before this threads creation, thought it was some bubba'd air rifle type 81 clone.... but now I know it's a legit factory gun. The fella in the vid doesnt exactly demonstrate responsible firearm use. But then again... it is only an air rifle haha

How do you think the authorities found out about Swiss arms and cz...someone talked about it...they didn't find out on their own.

If someone owned X firearm and thought there was even a slight risk that the gun was made from a surplus prohib/FA, I guess you'd advise them to go ahead and post about it on a public forum?

I'm done with the talk, but I can't get enough of your infinite wisdom! Need so much more of it...

Funny thing is you have ZERO clue who fence line is or what he does for work/who he works for but continue to post crap!!!!!

It seems like YOU really love listening to your self talk

BHAHAHAHHA you have no clue

Swiss Arms was from JR telling RCMP to check out the newly imported SA rifles cuz of his rivalry and CZ was always on the hit list but you are so wise in wisdom to know otherwise.

OR post where "someone talked about it...." for actual FACT

Who cares who fenceline is?

My point was that it was not smart for someone to post suspicions that an airgun was made of surplus parts on a public forum.
Wether that person is right or not is irrelevant. Its still not smart to do so.
Who you, I, or fenceline is is irrelevant too.
Doesn't make a tiny bit of difference to the point i'm making.

You can hate me, worship fenceline, and keep talking about people and irrelevant facts. If you want to address my point, and explain how i am wrong and how super smart it is to post such suspicions as the OP did, go right ahead. But as it stands you are only trying to divert the conversation to irrelevance.

Youza.

Thats 100% correct.

Someone talked about suspicions they had about a rifle to the authorities.

Thanks for confirming that my example is sound.

LMFAO, you clearly show you have no understanding of what happened but I'll help ya out a little so you dont look so lost.

JR (owner of TSE) contacted RCMP directly, not thru some none narrative post on a forum lol

But you seem to know more then most on this topic so........

LMFAO

Lots of people care who fence line is cuz he ACTUALLY knows what he is talking about and not some guy who blows steam out his ass to look like he knows what he is talking about.

I dont need to divert anything, you just dont know what you are talking g about and it's not just me but several others in this thread seem to think the same

I have posted several factual reasons why the concern over this particular pellet gun being reclassified is not a valid concern.

But feelings and concerns trump facts apparently. Chicken Little thoughts reign supreme.

Try to follow.

Here is a summary of how the conversation went.

- OP posts pictures of two different rifles, one airgun, and says he thinks the airgun is made of surplus part, including receiver

-I step in and says its not smart to post such suspicions on a public forum as it is confirmed monitored by the authorities (I'm still waiting to know if you actually disagree with me on this)

- Fenceline shows up and is really irritated because he knows the gun isn't at risk and decides its worth being condescending over

- I try to explain that its besides the point, and rehiterate that it is a bad idea to post such suspicions publically, no matter wether or not they end up being correct

- I laugh at fenceline for being so petty and irritated, while he keeps missing the point

- Another guy suggests the authorities don't care about such suspicions being posted publically because the "age of information" would have somehow magically made them aware of it prior

- You step in and worship fenceline out of the blue

- You try to prove me wrong by talking about JR who talked to the authorities, and you end up confirming my point that it is when people talk about suspicions publically that guns get banned

- You don't realize you are actually agreeing with my point

Youza.

Still missing the point I see.

Hint : its. not. about. the. specific. gun.

Its about the act of publically posting suspicions that *could* get a gun reclassified.

HAHAHAHAHAHHA it's TRUE, chicken little thoughts seem to be prevalent in this conversation

Hm.... yeah... there is a difference between talking about something, and specifically reporting to the RCMP.

JR Coxsucker went to the RCMP to try as a ####ty business tactic against a competitor... he burned everyone in the process.

Point is, the RCMP has specific direction when it comes to classification (unfortunately aided by suspected direction to restrict gun ownership).
So when NEA made the case that the NEA102/BCL102 was based off the AR102 not the AR10 the RCMP (despite trying to restrict it) had no choice.
Same thing happens with all the firearms deemed restricted by barrel length.... you can re-barrel to NR status.
There is a reason why the semi-automatic .223 military styled rifles like the TAR21 for example is not restricted.... it meets the definitions and conditions prescribed.

There are many guns that were originally offered with 16" or under barrels... and the Canadian market gets them made with NR compliant barrels.... so they come in NR.

Or should we let them in on that little secret that the TAR21 was designed by the Israeli military to kill their enemies and defend their citizens?
Or that the Re-barreled Canadian NR compliant guns were originally designed to be 16" super-concealable baby killers?
Or should we let them know that many of the <500fps air guns (Non-PAL requiring) sold since the firearms act are now capable of >500fps with the newer technologies and higher performance projectiles?

They know... They don't care... or their hands are tied by the firearms act.

Sure they get it wrong sometimes.... but other times they get it right according to the law written.

Hm.... yeah... there is a difference between talking about something, and specifically reporting to the RCMP.

Actually, there isn't a difference; especially not when the platform used to "talk about something" has been confirmed to be monitored by the RCMP themselves.
