Type 81

Please stop spreading this SKS non sense, it's not a SKS, it's nothing like a SKS, the type 81's bolt is different, the piston is different, the trigger is different, mag is different, stock is different, Safety is different, it has incorporated VZ and AK designs...
Does anyone even bother to research on a subject these days? don't just believe the next guy, me included, look it up if you are interested in the rifle, walk away if you don't, please don't spread the wrong info.
however I do agree with Travis this gun should not be more than 1k.

Yup, it's an SKS conversion alright.

But I like this one better:

Okay sorry you're right, it's an SKS with a rotating bolt, pistol grip and AK47 return spring lolol
Oh and a probably $1K price tag.
Don't get all pissy because you're a hair closer to what you think is an AK47 but still just a factory upgraded SKS in an AK47 furniture overcoat Sir......

lol that's funny, it has a different bolt, different spring system, different trigger system, different mag system? it still is a SKS? so the sig 550 is a AK47 then?
I could not careless about an AK47, I have stated my reasons wanting this rifle in another thread... first rifle I have ever shot, I actually have a little hands on experience with the rifle.

Meh, minor internal differences that still leave it a light, short, semi auto rifle shooting 7.62x39mm physically much closer to an SKS than anything else.
Tomaters that are red and tomaters that are a lighter shade of scarlet are still tomaters.......except when they cost 5 times as much!
Don't take it personally I don't really care if you buy one or 500 of them.
I'm just stating the reasons I'm not buying one. Don't take the internet opinions of complete strangers to heart so personally Sir. It's bad for the blood pressure over the long haul.

You wouldn't buy one for $500?

I think you would. I mean any other SKS conversion would cost about 600-700 to make it look like an AK :)

Hey it's your right to think it's a upgraded SKS, you mentioned it's just a SKS in a AK furniture, which is not.
I put out an argument with some facts and photos..others can judge themselves
Don't worry, no bad blood pressure here, putting out some facts before heading out with my kids to the park:) beautiful outside in Edmonton today.

.

With the possible, and vary loose, exception of the SS gas system, there is nothing SKS about the T81

Unless you are using the shape of the bolt handle?

Aye, and again that's the reason I never made an SKS look like an AK either lol
It's fine how it is at the price it's at.

And again I get it, the parts look different, the bolt is different, it has a pistol grip and it has a folding stock etc etc
Cosmetic differences aside, it's still a semi auto rifle with a mag pinned to 5 that shoots 7.62x39 in probably about the exact same accuracy level as a generic Russian SKS.
An SKS will do everything this rifle will in this country under our laws but will cost under 5 times less and that's why this guy is out on the T81.
Y'all enjoy it, just not for me.....

I don't think anyone, anywhere on this thread said specifically that anyone other than themselves doesn't need a type 81.
Did they?

Great. Now that those people have announced that they, themselves, don't need one, I'm sure they won't have to keep saying it, as it is quite clear.

Seeing as they aren't trying to convince others of how the Type 81 should be passed over.
