Type 97 NRR Questions

I think the basic question is: NRR=NSR ? are they gonna be here at around the same time ?

Can someone please explain ?

SKS' already shoot "crappy" as they shoot 3MOA or larger. They are also chromed lined (most) which adds in barrel life and the 7.62x39 is not as "hot" or "high pressure" as a 5.56.

What does that link have to do with Barrel Wear at all? Yes, 5.56 shoots slightly hotter. That doesn't mean you you'll shag the barrel shooting bi-metal. You can go shoot you're high quality rounds, I'm sure I'll still be having fun for years shooting the Norinco gear, should I choose to buy it when I finally do get my T97. And in the unlikely chance I don't, the money I saved on ammo will likely equal the cost of another T97. Just my opinion though.

I will quote myself, just to make it clear once again.

"Except the QBZ-97, the export version of the QBZ-95, is in 5.56. The Type 97 we will be getting is just a re-worked QBZ-97, and as such, that it uses 5.56 is normal. The QBZ-95 never got a 7.62 variant."
