I read this on another board and it made me feel all warm inside. Now keep in mind that this is all UNOFFICIAL NEWS, but it sounds great if it's true.
Quotes from other website
"Ok for us that ordered from CanadaAmmo, we are good they are staying non-restricted, no chance of reclassification.
as for the release date, customs says it should be by the end of the week.
“should”, so I wasn’t really convinced when I heard that.
I guess the main thing is we are going to get them and they will be non-restricted."
"where did you get that intel?"
"This info came from a person that is directly involved with the CBSA and the processing of firearms."

Well who knows how much truth there is to this, but if it is legit Canam will soon have these in their posession and then shortly ours. Here's to staying optimistic and it would be excellent to hear that Canam was able to collect them on Friday. I hate it when it hits the weekend where there's no chance of getting an update.
Anyone here from Calgary?
I hope it comes before my baby daughter.... the wife just might have to drive herself to the hospital if it's coming in the mail on that day....
- 41 days since the last official update on Jan 26
- 30 business days (29 if you factor in Family Day)
And all we have heard is that they are at customs.
C'mon CANAM, is this really the best you can do? Are you in touch with Customs/the RCMP and have they given an ETA? If not, have you escalated the issue? Is anything actually being done to address the delay? The squeaky wheel gets the grease so let's make some frickin' noise here.
Given money has exchanged hands I think we have a right to an answer that is more than just "keep waiting".
This is getting ridiculous.
He cant do any more it is now a up to the feds to arrange a release date not you- 41 days since the last official update on Jan 26

I don't buy that. The guns have already been approved as ok for sale, so what is the hold-up? All I am asking is why aren't questions being asked, why can't a definitive ETA be provided?
41 days is absurd with no effort being made to expedite the process.
well you go and harass the CBSA and see how far yoou get with that I can tell you this if anything they will drag there lazy asses even longer
I am sure if this is not to your liking I am sure that CamAm would give you refund if not I will gladly buy your rifle from CamAm
