Type97 and the lefthanded user.

My Pmags fit, but will not drop free. I have to ram them in, hard.

Mine don't drop free but, are by no means difficult to insert/remove.
I'm really not a fan of the view windows given our silly laws. The most they ever show is the orange paint on the spring hitting the 5.

The only mags that drop free in mine are the grey LAR mags. My Steel and Alum mags all insert/remove easy enough but, don't drop.

Positive spin: No more Muddy/Snowy/Dirty mags.

EDIT: Turns out most of my metal mags do indeed drop-free and that it's my hand reaching for the mag release that prevents them from falling.

It was designed as a side saddle riser and is completely ambi. It comes to the height of the plastic top cover, so I think it would work on the lower rail. What is that height? I could modify it to that dimension easy enough.

Don't know the height as I don't currently own a T97.. being a lefty I was holding out until a decent solution came out for case deflecting. Ideally I'd like to be able to shoot a T97 with FTU left-handed.
