Typo ??

Sorry, I wasn't clear there. A magnet does not stick to the bullet.

Then it's not steel. Steel will stick to a magnet. Lead will not.

Seems like the batch of norc stuff we've all got is your basic lead core copper jacket brass case boxer primed run of the mill 5.56x45 ('s what it says on the can anyway :p).

...The rounds CASING has NOTHING to do with it. Its the bullet jacket/core that does and yes the JACKET is copper but the CORE is bi-metal and that is the issue.

Maybe do some research/have the correct info before you try to prove points!!!

If the core is contained within the jacket, and never touches the barrel, how could the core material possibly cause barrel wear?

Anyone use this ammo for accurate taget shooting and with what?

Yes I ran some through my f-class 223 build with a rob mclennan barrel. This rifle is extremely accurate with handloads. The Norinco Ammo is about 2 MOA. The ammo functions well. But precision ammo it is not. That being said. I have bought 3 cases of it, still have a case left and when I saw this price I was disappointed that they were out of stock. It is great blasting ammo.

OK.... Please let's get back to topic.....

CanAm: Any more Norinco .223/556 incomming at 399$/1600 shipped ? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.................

The bullet retains its hardness more? I donno why exactly...just have seen lots of proof showing that to be the case.

Just got home and first thing I did was check this thread then Canada Ammo page. YUP just ordered X2 Now I'm just waiting for my Norinco M4 14.5 in. barrell to get here from Ellwood Epps!!!! Sorry I don't like the Bullpup. From what I have been told those guns just keep on shooting!!!!!!!!!!

I've been watching all day for something like that. $279 for 1120. Order in.

Yup, same price! (Almost...)

399/1600=0.249375 per round
279/1120=0.249107 per round

And just think, if I had waited to order, I could have saved, 0.249375-0.249107=0.000268 per round!!!

This is where CanAm is supposed to be laughing... HA HA, THANKS for the wicked deal on the case of 1600 rounds, REALLY appreciate your hard work on behalf of all us CANADIAN SHOOTERS!!!

Cheers
Jay
