Uberti Walker replica

I was just at the Buffalo gun center and they have a couple of Walker Replicas, good prices too. Since they are cap and ball there is no issue with you buying on down there and bringing it across the border.

Pro line Shooters in Calgary one in stock. Also like someone already mentioned you can export them from USA because they don't recognize black powder muzzle loaders as actual firearms in the USA. Of course you have to register it before you bring it into Canada but it's a fairly straightforward process.

It takes a while so best option is to buy it online and ship it to a trustworthy friend in the USA and contact the CFC with the make/model/ serial number and they will walk you through it. While it wouldn't be a problem in this case pay attention to barrel length because several cool BP pistols don't meet minimum length requirements in Canada

Depending on the state you may or may not be able to purchase black powder guns if you're not a resident.

I do know that Minnesota doesn't allow cash and carry for black powder guns.

We just had our annual CAS event and one of our members shot one of his Walkers along with his '60 Army in the "Frontiersman" class, which means he had to use one hand. He's done this before shooting a pair of '47s. He's a big boy at 270 lbs and can handle them, but for most people, it's a two handed gun.
I sold my walker but kept my Colt 2nd Gen 3rd Model Dragoon. This is the heaviest gun I can safely and effectively shoot with one hand, but rapidity of shots doesn't happen.

I put on several period arms sessions for the re-enactment group I belonged to as many of them were not into guns. The men all had to shoot the Walker and insisted that it be max loaded. After three shots they developed a world class flinch and only shot the gun dry because the ladies were watching. Accuracy at 15 yds was non-existent.

The ladies shot my 2nd Gen Colt '51 Navy and had no problems keeping their rds in the black.
