Ukrainian Shotgun IPSC Postal Match

Are we limited to using Ukrainian shotguns?
I currently only have Italian!
(Hopefully it doesn't put me into open)
:)

I mean that you can load your mag tube in a systematic order such that you select which round is used for which target. Thus you can use flight control rounds on paper while using std rounds on the steel targets. There is one stage that has both.

It has been found that using flight controlled buckshot at steel targets under about 30m is about the same in terms of damage and risk as using slugs

If you want to post the stages please feel free.......

They are most definitely not restricted to purchase for civilians!

I bought a bunch of it last year for the PanAm's, the stuff works awesome. I just ordered it from my local gun shop. The product # is PFC154 00 it is the Federal Premium 9 shot Buckshot with the FliteControl Wad.

You must use it with an Open choke though. Any choke and it will strip the wad, thereby nullifying the desired result, tight patterns! All the pellets are still in the wad at 10 metres, and they would surely mess up our poppers. And I think they are copper plated as well, can you say splash-back!

These are the 2 3/4" jobs, they also have 3"

Can I shoot this match with my provisional black badge, finished the course last month, but waiting on a new LTATT due to club change? (reason why I haven't been to a 'normal' IPSC match yet)

First IPSC event a shotgun match...

I did the shotgun portion of EESA's 3-gun event a few years ago about 3 weeks after completing the black badge course - it was definitely fun!!

My suggestion, look for something other than a 32" Wingmaster 4+1 to use or you'll probably end up last by a mile as I did (but it was still fun!!).

I did my qualifier the next month at the provinicials in Sharon, Ontario with a borrowed shadow (just to up the ante on interesting starts to your IPSC career).

Not so. I did fine with 5+1.

I am talking about this particular match. All stages are under 8 rounds and one is started unloaded. You are doubling your time if you don't have 8 or 9 rounds in the magazine. The diagrams are posted in IPSC Ontario forum, go and take a look.

If you're only referring to this match.... you have 8+1 sg and all the stages are under 8 rounds, why would you need to practise your reloads??

With a M4 you can go 5+1+1
