Ultrasonic Case cleaner?

I do both.
for rifle cartridge reloading, I decap the primer, sonic clean, case lube, full length size, tumbler (lyman pro) with corn media to get rid of the case lube, then onto the press.
for pistol cartidge, I just decap, sonic clean then onto the press.

I have Hornady sonic cleaner (the square stainless steel, not the plastic one).

Stainless steel tumbler is the way to go. Brass comes out unbelievably clean and shiny. Primer pockets are clean, very easy to use. So if you are deciding on a wet cleaning system which means drying your brass anyway, go STAINLESS! To dry my brass after cleaning and rinsing, I dump them onto a tea towel, and grab the ends of the towel, and roll the brass back and forth to take any excess water droplets off the brass, then onto a cookie sheet and into the oven at 175 degrees F for about 45 minutes I use convection oven to get air movement over brass, but it is not a must.

if you go wet cleaning, go ss pins.....
I only SS pin clean large batches, or really ugly brass.
the rest just goes corncob... my time is worth more than drying brass to dirty it again the next time I shoot it.

the whole process takes time. not worth it to do less than 100 rifle cases.
I do it for 2-500 cases.
can process 1000 223 cases at once in my tumbler.

I decided to head the stainless route and have already ordered the stainless media. Just waiting to get my hands on a Thumlers Tumbler. Thanks for the advice everyone! :)

thumler's tumbler is fine to process smaller batches. You will probably be happy with that.

My issue with my larger 1/2 Hp tumbler is that it's just too bulky. Just the tub is like 15 pounds.
The good part is that it can process a crapload of cases without a sweat, I would say over 1000 223 cases fit in the tub. It could manage larger loads, I just dont have a bigger tub...
