. Never did get to eat any though. Well actually really no sure about that either. Some of the meals were kind of unknown.
Come back with a muskox.. or not at all.
A bit tough but otherwise looked and tasted like beef
Well this almost happened and we almost had to sleep under a plastic tarp.
got stuck in SLUSH ... Several hrs later of digging... only got 1 out and JUST barely... dark now and we head back it starts to flurry(snow flying)... wind up losing our trail stuck in deep snow once again... both soaked from top to bottom.... I'm bruised from top to bottom and pulled every muscle in my body ...

p.s. nothing's working for me today including my laptop and photobucket page![]()
Keep at it if there are tags left Otokiak!
That sounds faacking horrible.
Otokiak, sounds like quite the ordeal that's for sure...will the Atv be frozen in solid by the time you get back to it?? Had a similar story with my Ford Bronco years ago and ended up having to chop ice for hours to get it out of a river the next day.
Good luck with your recovery and good luck with the hunting!
Cheers
I thought that day would never end. Wasn't even my Quad either ... I was the "idiot friend" that volunteered to help a buddy of mine![]()
So let me get this right. A little soft snow, combined with some slush and a snow flurry ended your hunt.
Interesting. Very interesting.
