If a tree falls in the Forest and there is nobody around to hear it fall , does it make a sound ?If I find a tree stand and camera put up on my property without permission, is it mine?
I did pull the card and the guy is on it. I have no idea who he is.Seems like a good situation to apply "possession is 9/10th of the law"...
But whoever left it there knows where they left it. If it goes missing they might retaliate with vandalism or theft...
If you pull the card on their camera does it include pictures of them setting up?
At the very least they trespassed to install them with Sask's current laws regarding same. As mentioned earlier I would be more worried about them retaliating in some untoward way, as they were willing to trespass already... The idea of a phone number to collect is worth considering. If I find a tree stand and camera put up on my property without permission, is it mine?
I like this option.Take it down if you don't want it on your property and leave a note with your phone number so buddy can come and explain the error of his ways and possibly see about getting his stuff back.
All privately owned rural land in SK is deemed no trespassing, no signs needed.so what does the Sask wildlife act and hunting regulations say about tresspass and unauthorized tree stands?
There must be regulation on this in your province's land use and hunting laws
