Unfortunate Experience

Never had a hitch with Tradeex. They are my go-to sponsor. Seems the OP is a little old-school. Business nowadays is fast-paced and quick. Hence the terse response. I know lots of people who think businesses should cater to them like it's 1955, this is 2018. I will do business again with them for sure.

I would have been happy if they had responded at all past the "I'm sorry you feel that way"
Still haven't given up hope, which is why I posted this here. Impossible to know if an employee actually forwards concerns on or not.

Smart people do not respond to self-serving, inflammatory, threatening, irrational emails. There is no upside for them to respond to your manipulation attempt.

OP,
I was initially giving you the benefit of the doubt. It’s true that sometimes bad communication can ruin a business. There were several site sponsors here , <cough> Marstar <cough> that definitely had belligerent responses to customers.

But from your posts, I really see nothing wrong with what Trade Ex said. To push for an apology to a very normal response just seems unreasonable. That’s why you’re getting flamed here. If I were Trade Ex, I likely won’t respond either as they really have nothing to respond to. You admittedly know the policy and you haven’t bought anything.

If anything, you might owe them an apology for slagging them here on an open forum for a perceived slight.

To their credit, seems like Trade Ex has taken the high road and not responded. Just buy the gun and be done with it. You can address any issues you may have with them at the time of your purchase.

..lol. OP, you should have quit while you were 'ahead' like several of your Reply Posts ago lol. Is it APRIL 01 already? I though at first was becuz you were paying for it, & wanted it shipped a week later, but you Didnt even Pay for it, or deposit, then they simply message you a Normal email re: their policy. Dude GIVE IT UP- this whole thing is really silly & is makes you look {unfortunately} really really {pathetically} silly. Sorry OP! :p

To clarify, their response to my asking to hold (Yes I couldn't pay for it until Friday, had to get back to town to do some banking) was "We do not have a hold policy, payment must be receive today.

Linda"

I know it's not the most offensive thing in the world, but I tend to expect polite responses as a customer.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!! Nothing wrong with that response. WTF kind of answer did you expect?

You're one of those "Let me talk to your manager" people, YOU are the problem. Business owners do not have to cater to your every need

Congrats though, in ten years on CGN I have never started a thread that made it to 12 pages in less than a day. You've accomplished that by being an entitled bratt in less than a year!

Again, I just want a response from Trade Ex. That's all I came here for, not some fan boy flame war.

All my answers to you, the very dear Highness were rather respectful. Even if I was just laughing out loud. Now I'm pretty much sure that there is some mental condition involved. Normal people just don't act that way. There is NOTHING to respond to. You keep making a fool out of yourself. Stop it.

TheIHGuy: Ok, let's say you live in this fantasy, very polite world where everyone kisses everyone else's ass as you claim. You felt that some business was curt to you and want an apology to the extent that you need to talk to the superior employee. Turns out (after you posted the actual conversation) that YOU were the one that started the fire and then threw gasoline on it. Then you falsly, publicly outed the company in a slander post and have 12 pages of people telling you how wrong you are.

Since you live in this fantasy, polite world that would mean that you have wronged said business and owe them a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE public apology.
Please demonstrate your polite world and show us how it's done.

You're right everyone, I'm not too big of a man to admit I was wrong. The more I read the more I see things from another perspective. I do appologize. Clearly I've had poor judgement in this case, and took things the wrong way that had no I'll intent. Thank you for hearing me out putting up with my crap. Sorry Trade Ex for clogging up your page with my ramblings. You do sell some darn fine fire arms.

Well here’s a rarity. A guy who can adopt a different perspective and make amends when necessary. That’s so rare these days it should be considered a super power.

Good on you sir!
