The CATCH IS THE WRONG ONE!!!!!!!,...You need a new design catch to work with the new style hammer.
give me your email,...I will send you the actual HK notification,..I have it on file.

Oh , ok understand , no need i reinstall the original hammer and trigger. The trigger pull is the same, the breaking point is a bit more crisp. I don't see a real difference . The basic USP is a very good gun.

New hammer + new style catch = good trigger.
Old hammer + old style catch = ok trigger.

New hammer + old style catch = bang!!...oops...

Yep, theres your problem

some of the newer versus older USP's had different parts (catch, hammer etc...) and installing a NEWER hammer onto an older USP would not be good.

IS there any physical way to tell if its a newer/older Usp? (serial numbers or something?)

If you look closely at the hammers, one has a recess in the shape of a U or horseshoe. That is the new style hammer..
