**UPDATE** for CZ Bren 2 MS Barrel Components only at Dlask Arms Corp.

Im a bit of a noob here, but wouldn't you still need a third party gas regulator since the original was modified for the longer barrel?

The expenses would keep on piling up, fellas...Sheesh.

Who did your conversion?

Why did they modify the regulator when one can easily calibrate the gas system by changing the size of gas port drilled in the barrel?

like I said, total noob here. I thought the gas port was widened on the regulator, not the barrel. Dlask did the conversion obviously.
I'm reading the thread and trying to learn what I can, while obviously whooshing on some of the more technical things.

So what you guys are saying is that it actually CAN use the original gas key/assembly?
Im seeing people talking about sourcing parts from HBI etc....I thought it was out of necessity and not convenience.

Anyway, I digress: I'm grateful for what dlask is doing and I'll be getting this done on my 11.

Just got the first ten prototype trunnions finished and drilled. They will be headed for Nitride next week and once we get them back we will test them and that's one part ready. The gas blocks we have revised a bit to make them more streamlined and both Joe and I are quite happy with them . Once we have the prototypes for those we will test them in the white since they don't need the Nitride finish like the trunnions.

As for the ancillary components like the lever on the gas block, the spring for it and the cross pin those will also be available soon as well we may have some pistons made, long and short, and are looking at gas regulators / piston heads as well so we can sell full and true drop-on barrels for this platform.

Not sure of the first batches of parts so if you want in buy a pre-order now. Everyone that does will have first chance to get the other components as they come available.

I'll keep y'all posted as things progress.

That's all great news, Leigh. Thanks for the update.

Out of curiosity, when it comes to the ancillary parts; you say they'll be available soon, does that mean available at or before the same time as the main components? Or is it more likely they'd be available after the main parts are already available and established in the production line?

So it looks like the first 5x sets of samples will be back from bluing by this Friday. We will install them onto a test barrel and light up the shop gun early next week. There were some minor amendments to the design of the gas block to make it more streamlined, you guys will like it I'm thinking.

Barrel order is going in today as well for some of the calibers most requested for stand alone barrels - .300 AAC + 7.62x39 mostly. I will keep y'all in the loop as those progress.

The gas regulators and 7.62x39 bolt heads are next.... ( : Damn I love this rifle. Once in a blue moon (Vz.59, Vz.58, original Shadow) CZ just nails it, and this is one of those times !

Progressing really fast. Can’t wait to send my barrel in and order a conversion.

Well Happy Monday everyone. Got confirmation the first sample lot will be back from bluing tomorrow. These are all spoken for unfortunately but once we have them and installed I will smoke this place up with some testing and from there it's GO TIME to get the big batch done and ready for sale.

For everyone that put in a pre-order, you'll be very, VERY happy. ( :

Wow, sounds like everything is coming together quickly here. Now I’m debating on purchasing another set of these parts for another barrel. We are very fortunate to have you Dlask, we were hopeful that CZ was going to deliver on their support, but so pumped that you and others have stepped up in support of this platform. These parts are incredibly rare in the U.S. even.

I would like a complete NR barrel supplied by you guys. If I do the "Install" Preorder, can it be held until a suitable barrel is available for installation?
