For real you ordered 12 pistoleros?
That postal dolly rolls up to your door.
But look poor postal worker is exhausted, as he was in a speedy delivery to Claven2 house.
Initiating a urgent front of the line delivery
Of his new?? ,,,CHINESE SURPLUS TT33/TYPE 54.

I did buy one of those, but also much more valuable guns in the $2k+ range. I'm no more special than anyone else, but not complaining is equivalent to accepting sh!tty service.

What incentive does the CFO have to speed things up ?
Why would they work faster ?
They have a job for life, answer to seemingly no one.

4000 behind is not going to be next week. Probably 3

If Ontario is getting around 1/3 volume as claimed and they are processing about 110/day as I've estimated based on data posted here, that's just over 2 working weeks

With tenda supposedly sitting on over 8000 handguns, imagine if some gangbangers were to find that stash.

This is a story I feel like we should get out.

There is no way on gods green earth Tenda is sitting on 8000 hand guns.

You need to stop and think about how much space that will take up. It’s just not possible in a store that size.

They answer to the premier. This is a conservative provincial government that is failing us, and perhaps where great leverage needs to be applied.

I don't know they managed to get new stock including S&W handguns well after the import ban, so......... maybe they can preform miracles lol even before the ban id been told S&W pistols were a non event from many well known dealers

How is the number system working between provinces as each forum the numbers are almost identical but they say each province is different so do each province use the same number sequence or is it all the same sequence but differed across the different provinces? I mean does each province have a 5987000 or is there one 5987000 and alberta gets is then ontario gets 5987001?

The feds issue numbers in the order received, so most provinces are well into the 59###xx range, while Onterrible is still in the 589###x range, and making aost no progress each day, usually well under 100 transfers. Do the math, the CFC is now issuing 600###x...

Transfers are initiated electronically with one set of numbers for all provinces.
Think of the butcher shop number tickets. Currently they're dispensing 600###x and up.
Provincial numbers seem different only because the CFOs are processing their province's requests at differing speeds.
Provinces with fewer handgun owners are progressing faster. Ontario has some of the highest numbers of handgun owners.
Also the CFO reported that 1/3 of all purchases were from Ontario.
BTW, that doesn't mean an equal division of issued transfers in time.
There could be clumps of ON transfers, followed by clumps of Alberta transfers, etc.
That would explain why sometimes approvals proceed very slowly and then much faster as most transfers are from other provinces.

How do they process the ones where a buyer was able to get through and complete the transfer one month after a seller initiated that?
Let's say it is transfer # 5,900,000 and the current sequence is 5 970 000.
Where would CFO put the case, right after 5 970 000? That would create even bigger mess unless they have their own internal reference numbers as well.
