Does anybody know what would happen if I was to change addresses mid transfer? I've got some transfers starting with 6 at this point and am looking at moving residences within about 6 months. At the pace the CFO is working its entirely likely I would have moved by then, would updating my address with the retailer/CFO invalidate the transfer?

I actually asked this during my last transfer as I’m moving end of October.

I was told I can now update my address online on the RCMP website, once I update my address, that’s all that is required. The system will do the rest.

Now this is what I was told. It does seem to good to be true for the government. But I record all my phone calls so worse comes to worse I have that lol

At the end of the day my were all private purchases and I told the sellers I would be moving and they’d more then likely be sending it to my new address anyways. So as long as I get it in my hands I really don’t care about the rest. I can sort that out.

I moved in August after my buying spree in early June. I changed my registered address per the rules, and then sent emails to all the places I purchased from. Unfortunately the store notifications haven't really proven to be very effective. One handgun was approved and despite my address change email and another poke when I received the CFO approval, they still shipped it to the old address. Another store contacted me last week about a problem they were having with my registration and I told them about the address change. They hadn't paid any attention to my earlier email.

I'm expecting to have to do a bunch of running around as approvals trickle in. PITA

Sales/transfers seem to have peeked and now slowed
That is over 9200 since my Sept 4 purchase. Average of just over 500 transfers per a day. Down from the overall avg of 1300/day since May 30

I was away for the last two weeks and haven't been following, kind of hoping to come home to good news. My transfer 59028XX was a consignment sale (ONT Store) to me (ONT) and I haven't heard anything yet from it. That is 4k older than what seems to be clearing now.
