Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Doug Ford is showing his true colors, the red is showing through, the guy has shown himslef to have no balls, his brother is probably rolling in his grave seeing what a complete woosie old Dougie has become,he should have told the OPP to get their #### together or he'd move the transfer program to a private party who CAn do the job,3 people working only 2 or 3 days a week is why transfers take forever,

He's the same guy that authorized cops to enforce the covid mandates and restrict the movement of people. Don't expect anything from him. Just fortunate that he can't openly go full liberal anti-gun - while heading the Conservatives. That's pretty much the only saving grace.

I submitted a complaint with the Ontario Ombudsman regarding the egregious transfer wait times. I hope more people do the same.

I don’t get why people think this. The fact that there won’t be any new ones just means that eventually there’ll be an end point where they’ll actually get caught up. It doesn’t mean that they’ll process the existing ones any quicker than they already have been.
Well they will not have to deal with new transfer applications coming it, phone calls for private transfers etc. It is a sad irony that the freeze on transfers will actually speed up transfers.

That's not the cfo, that's the call center in Miramichi. The Ontario CFO didn't initiate transfers or field transfer calls.

Zero changes. No sped up anything.

Correct. I predict they will move even slower now, and the Turd will come up with a new OIC to block the tens of thousands of pending transfers for public safety.

I hope I'm wrong, but I sincerely doubt these guys will allow handgun transfer approvals 6 months from now. Their evil cannot be underestimated.

Well I highly doubt that the process of receiving transfers from the CFP takes up much of their time compared to the actual approvals, and the CFP dealt with people initiating private transfers. People slowing them down by trying to check on the status of their transfer and cut the line probably won't change. So they're saving a minuscule amount of time at best not having new handgun transfers come in.

We should definitely still be able to start new transfers. Hope CCFR and CSAAA, CSSA are on this as I want 1 or 2 more to add to the safe
