Same (except pistol not revolver). Luckily mine is projected to complete within the next 2-3 weeks.

Ref # 59369XX Sask private to Ontario private APPROVED today Nov. 9. I had emailed the CFO to get an update on the transfer and 5 mins later I got an email back saying it was approved. Funny how that worked! Hmmmm

The CFO mentioned at TACCOM they were hiring new staff to process transfers. Does it seem like the rate has sped up, or do we assume the new hires haven’t started.

I'm shaking my head because the CFO at TACCOM told me the exact opposite.

When I inquired a few weeks back about batch transfers they gave me this canned response…

The Chief Firearms Office is processing transfers by date due to the unprecedented amount that came in daily from May 30/31 to Oct 21, 2022.

The Chief Firearms Office along with the Ontario Provincial Police have developed and implemented strategies to assist with the high volume of transfer applications received. This includes but not limited to Firearms Officers working on the weekends and new contracts hired and working as Firearms Officers in the transfer unit.

Apologies if not the right forum but wanted to know if there is anything available to track ATT wait times. After waiting 140 days for transfer approval, the private seller in QC is now waiting for an ATT going on almost 2 weeks. Thought I was in clear only to wait longer.

Ummmmmm, ATT takes at most 2 days but usually hours. They know they need to request it right? it's not automatic

You could get an ATT to pick up instead...it'll come through the ontario CFO instead of qc CFO.

Hey all,

Just wanted to say thanks to Wolf and Co. for creating this spreadsheet and tracking everything! My pending transfer is Ont. business to Ont. private and was initiated July 19th with reference 59723XX. Hopefully this info is still helpful this late in the game.

Thanks for this. I will reach out again. All is legit maybe going to spam or something but seller applied Oct 28 and nothing so far. I have confirmed everything in my name and there is a shipping label created just waiting for it to come in. Thanks.
