Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

I requested a transfer for a gun from quebec to my buyer in Ontario at the end of May. Today Nov 23, I finally received the approval. Pushing 6 months, but at least there is some movement. In contrast, I applied for the att to take it to the post office. I had an att from the surete du quebec in less than 45 minutes. I guess they are happy to see guns leave their jurisdiction. Now just waiting for 8 more.

I had to call about 59326xx, initiated June 13. Was told it's still under review. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?...

This! I'm in the same boat and when I called, after spending over an hour on hold I was referred to the CFR department... whiskey tango fox trot indeed. At least they answered the phone and were very helpful. Lol I think it was the X Files that made reference to working for a level of government most people have never heard of. Well, now you have:ninja::bsFlag:

Well, it all depends upon luck.

The Liberal Government intends to
ban all centrefire semi-automatic
rifles and shotguns with detachable magazines through Bill C-21.

(g) a firearm that is a rifle or shotgun, that is
capable of discharging centre-fire ammunition in a
semi-automatie manner and that is designed to
accept a detachable cartridge magazine with a
capacity greater than five cartridges of the type for
which the firearm was originally designed.
